Juneteenth Wreath Dedication to be held at Rosa Parks Square Park in Macon
Macon – Macon Black Culture, MLK Board, Friends of Rosa Parks Square, Torch Light Academy, and Kwanza Cultural Access Center are pleased to announce the Juneteenth Wreath Dedication event. The event will take place on Thursday, June 13th at 10am at the Rosa Parks Square Park in downtown Macon.

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, is a significant day in American history. It commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. This event aims to honor the legacy of Juneteenth and celebrate the progress made towards equality and justice.

The Juneteenth Wreath Dedication will feature a wreath-laying ceremony to pay tribute to the struggles and triumphs of those who fought for freedom and equality. Attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on the past and look towards a future of unity and inclusivity.

We invite the community to join us in this momentous occasion. Together, let us remember the sacrifices of the past and continue the fight for equality and justice for all.
