Louis Frank Tompkins resides in Macon, Georgia and is a retired educator who served for forty-three years as a classroom Teacher (English), Assistant Principal, Principal, Director of Transportation for the Bibb County School District, and a Teacher Recruiter (Human Resources Department) with the Bibb County School District. His other work experiences include those as a Football and Track Coach, Middle Georgia Community Youth League Football and Basketball Coach, Substitute Teacher Trainer, Executive Director of Middle Georgia Community Youth League-Macon, Georgia Statewide Olympics Coordinator (Upward Bound Program-Mercer University), News and Sports Editor for the Macon Courier, Classroom Teacher-Mercer University (Upward Bound Program, and the Macon-Bibb County Recreation Department. He has received extensive specialized training in Leadership Instruction, Evaluations, Suicide Prevention, Computer Technology and Instructin, Total Quality Management, Grant Writing, Character Education, School Improvement Planning, Technology Planning, Environmental Health and Safety Planning, and Facilitation.
