Macon, GA – The Central Georgia Coalition of Black Businesses & the Macon Middle Georgia Black Pages are proud to announce the return of the Central Georgia Black Business and Community Expo, now in its second year. Scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Macon Coliseum , this year’s Expo is set to be even more impactful, promising a day filled with commerce, collaboration, career exploration, and cultural celebration. Under the theme “Together We Rise,” the Expo will serve as a dynamic platform where African-American entrepreneurs, professionals, and community members from across Central Georgia can converge to engage, empower, and elevate one another. The event is free and open to the public, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with over 100 vendors and community organizations from various industries and sectors.
Building on the success of the inaugural event, the Central Georgia Black Business & Community Expo 2024 will feature an expanded marketplace, immersive educational sessions, thought-provoking discussions, captivating cultural performances, and a wealth of community resources. Highlights of the day will include a Main Stage with guest speakers, celebrity appearances, live performances, panels, and giveaways, as well as specialized breakout sessions and an award ceremony. This year will also feature special youth focused breakout sessions led by young people and youth advocates. In addition to the marketplace and performances, the Central Georgia Black Business & Community Expo 2024 will include a technology-focused segment in The Monument Room, providing a space for discussions on the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), latest tech trends and innovations. This segment will be of particular interest to entrepreneurs and professionals looking to stay ahead in the ever-evolving digital landscape
